Far Cry 2 will be compatible with DirectX 10.1, atleast, that's what Fudzilla's sources claim. ATI reports that it will soon release a hotfix to improve the game's performance. They even claim that the hotfix will make the Radeon HD4870 X2 perform better in this game than the rival GTX280 card by nVidia.

Far Cry will be launched in Europe on the 24th of October, it will then become clear which rumors and claims are truthful and which are not.
