Plextor introduces three new NAS-devices with its Plextor StorX DUO-HDD NAS line-up. As the name suggests, the devices have two physical hard disks with equal storage capacities. Those capacities vary from 1 TB, to 1.5 TB and lastly 2 TB.

The disks can be configured in a RAID0 or RAID1 configuration via a webinterface. They also feature two USB2.0 ports, one on the front and one on the rear. This makes it possible to attach an external hard disk, as well as a network printer. The USB-connector on the front features a 'Backup' button, which makes it possible to copy data from the USB-device to the NAS instantly. A more detailed overview of the specifications below:

Plextors new NAS-devices feature a two-year warranty and should become available somewhere throughout this month at a still undisclosed price.
