Lite-On launches BD-Combo iHES206

Lite-On launches its first 6x Internal Blu-ray Combo: the iHES206. The iHES206 combines Blu-ray playback with DVD burning capability, in a single device. The burner features a SATA connection and is able to burn all conventional DVD and CD formats, as well as read Blu-ray, DVD and CD media. 

All types of single-layer Blu-ray disks: BD-R-, BD-RE, and BD-ROM, are read at speeds of up to 6x, while dual layer Blu-ray discs are read at a speed of up to 4X. The device burns DVD±R at 16x, dual layer DVD±R at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x and DVD-RAM at a speed of 12x. The iHES206 also features the LightScribe labeling technology.

The iHES206 will become available starting November, it bears a recommended price of 139 Euro.
