DFI shows LANParty UT X58 motherboard

Several manufacturers have recently shown their versions of motherboards with the Intel X58 chipset. DFI also has a board under development, the LANParty UT X58.

The above image shows the motherboard without cooling constructions. The LANParty UT X58 features the Intel Core i7 socket LGA1366. The three PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots make both Triple-SLI and ATI CrossfireX possible. The motherboard has eight SATA II 3.0 ports, one PATA connector, two Gbit LAN controllers and six DDR3-memory slots.

The recommended price for DFI's LANParty UT X58 motherboard isn't known yet, but it is rumored to cost over $300,- in the United States.
