A report by TechPowerUp! shows that the Australian company Austin Computers has added two unannounced nVidia graphics cards to its product list. The listed models are a GeForce GTX 280+, based on the 55 nm GT200b-chip, and a GeForce GTX350, based on the 55nm GT300 chip.
By shrinking the process of the GPU from 65nm to 55nm, the renewed GeForce GTX 280 cards will have a "+" added to their names. nVidia used the same name change to seperate the 65nm G92 chip from the 55nm G92b model. It's likely that the die-shrink also allows the cards to be overclocked further. According to the short specifications that are listed with the card, it will feature 1GB of GDDR3 memory on a 512-bit bus and is scheduled for release in this month still, confirming earlier reports. A price isn't mentioned.
The site also shows a GT300-based GeForce GTX 350, which would also be a 55 nm GPU. The specifications of this card reveal that it will bear 2GB of GDDR5-memory on a 512-bit memory bus. The GeForce GTX 350 should be released in the last quarter of this year at a still undisclosed price.
nVidia has not yet made any official announcements.
