Intel's Core i7 pictured

TechConnect Magazine has released pictures of the Intel Core i7 Extreme 965 processor. The CPU has four cores and is able to process eight threads simultaneously. It has 8 MB of L3 cache, an integrated triple-channel DDR3 memory controller and a core frequency of 3.2 GHz. The processor will offically be launched in about six weeks. 

Left: the Core i7 965 (Socket LGA1366), in the middle the LGA775 processor and to the right socket 478.
