After AMD recently introduced the 43xx and 45xx series of graphics cards, it was only a matter of time before we would see the first models appear. MSI is the first to show its Radeon HD 4350 line-up, consisting of two passively cooled models.

As the names suggest, the only difference between the R4350-D256H and R4350-D512H is the amount of memory, respectively 256 and 512 MB. In both cases, the GDDR2 memory is clocked at 1000 Mhz and uses a 64-bits memory bus. The 55nm core of these low profile cards runs at 600 MHz. The 80 stream processors in combination with the small dimensions and passive cooling, should make the card perfectly suited for HTPC's.

MSI's Radeon HD 4350 graphics cards will be released in October. Though MSI has not yet mentioned any exact prices, earlier reports claim that a Radeon HD 4350 with 256 MB GDDR2 memory will cost about US $39,-.
