LG Electronics introduces two new LCD-televisions in the Scarlet-series: the LG70 and LG61. The company also launches a compact home cinema with the LG HT33S.
The Scarlet LG70 is a Full HD 1080p LCD-television with a sleek design and sensors to pick up the ambient light, automatically adjusting its brightness to the ideal level. To calibrate the screen to personal preference, the Scarlet LG70 features several options. The AV-mode controls image optimalization for movies, sport or games, whereas the Expert-mode allows you to tune almost every setting. The TruMotion 100 Hz-technology is to minimize image delay and provide a faster response to color change. With the 24P Real Cinema technology it should be possible play HD-movies in their native 24 frames per second.
THe invisible speakers feature Clear Voice-technology which recognizes human voices and automatically downtones the background noise. The USB 2.0 connector makes it possible to play MP3-files, view images or videos directly from a USB-stick. The TV has four HDMI 1.3 ports to connect devices such as Blu-ray and DVD-players, as well as game consoles.
The Scarlet LG61 is the second screen in the series. LG claims that with a depth of 4.47 cm, this is one of the thinnest LCD-tv's with HD-tuner as of yet. The LG61 has a glossy finish and an on/off button with softtouchsensor, which is surrounded by a red LED-light. On the bottom of the device, red led light glows when it is turned on. This TV also has the TruMotion 100 Hz technology, as well as a dynamic contrast ratio of 50.000:1.
The HT33S is LG's latest home cinema and has a piano black finish. The compact design saves room by using less speakers. This is possible through Virtual Sound Matrix (VSM) which provides an HD 5.1 surround effect with only two speakers. The home cinema has an iPod docking system. It should also be an experience for gamers, thanks to the optical port.
The LG70 and LG61 will become available by the end of September at respective prices of 1.599 Euro (incl. VAT) and 1.799 Euro (incl. VAT). The LG HT33S will also become available around this time, bearing a recommended price of 299 Euro (incl. VAT).| Related news |
