Scythe has upgraded its Kama Reader cardreader. The new Kama Reader 2 adds the possibility to plug MicroSD and Memory Stick Micro memorycards directly into the device. The earlier Kama Reader didn't support this without using a special adaptor for these formats.

Like it's predecessor, the Kama Reader 2 can be used both as an internal and as an external cardreader. The device fits in a  3.5" bay and apart from the USB 2.0 header, it also features a regular USB 2.0 connector for external use. The cardreader is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista and Mac OS X. An overview of all supported memorycard types can be found on Scythe's website.
