ATI Catalyst driver roadmap
The website VR-Zone has recently acquired images which appear to show ATI's Catalyst driver and desktop software roadmap.
On the roadmap we see a mention of AMD's RS880 chipset, which will bring DDR3 support to the AMD platform in the second quarter of next year, as well as an integrated graphics chip. The RS880 chipset will be combined with a new southbridge, the SB800, which should provide extra multimedia functionalities.
The roadmap also shows monthly updates to the Catalyst drivers with added functionalities such as Blu-ray support for Linux and energy saving options for UVD.
