Spire recently introduced a new line of cases in the HandyBook serie. The HandyBook design is based on a book, meaning the access to the physical hard disk is performed by opening and closing the case as a book.

The HandyBooks will appear in both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch versions, supporting PATA or SATA hard disks with up to 500 GB of storage. The HandyBooks feature an USB2.0 connector and an eSATA version is also available. The user has the choice between a black and silver color.
