Be Quiet Straight Power E7 power supplies

Be Quiet launches a new series of power supplies branded Straight Power E7. The line-up consists of modular models with capacities of 480, 580 and 680 Watt, as well as 400, 450, 500, 550, 600 and 700 Watt versions that aren't modular. All supplies are cooled by Be Quiet's SilentWings 120 mm fan.

The Straight Power E7 series is designed conforming the ATX 12V 2.3 standard and uses active PFC. All models of 450 Watt and up feature four independent +12V rails to enhance the stability. The PSUs have been granted an 80Plus Bronze certificate and have a specified efficiency of up to 89%. Be Quiet has integrated protection against short-circuiting, over- and undercurrent, exceeding the supplies' maximum capacity and against high-temperatures.

The Be Quiet Straight Power E7 power supplies are to be released on the 15th of October, bearing the recommended pricetags that can be seen below:
