A leaked HP brochure shows that the company is planning to release a new version of its Pavilion dv3 notebook, featuring Windows 7 and a touchscreen. The lightest configuration of the 13,3" notebook weighs only 2,12 kg. TechConnect claims that the notebook will be equipped with an Intel Pentium or Core 2 processor, contrary to the other dv3 editions, that are AMD-based.

The new notebook has room for up to 8 GB of memory and 500 GB of storage capacity. The laptop uses an nVidia GeForce G 105M graphics card. The system features a 5-in-1 cardreader and a webcam. Windows 7 Home Premium and HP TouchSmart 3.0 will be bundled with the device. TechConnect expects that the notebook will be released around the 22nd of October, at a still unknown price.
