For all adventurers in need of important data, A-Data has introduced the SH93. This external hard disk has a waterproof casing and is claimed to be shock-resistant, making it an ideal product for the demanding mobility user.

The outside of the SH93 features a mixture of rubber, plastic and impact-resistant materials. The disk has been tested for impact resistance by means of an MIL-STD-810F standard test. A-Data states that the SH93 can be submerged in 3 foot deep water for up to thirty minutes. The USB-cable can be attached to the side of the black/red or black/yellow casing. A-Data's SH93 is sized 129 x 97 x 19 mm and weighs 240 grams.

Storage capacity options include a 250 GB, 320 GB, 500 GB and a 640 GB model. No information is known regarding price and availability.
