ASUS Eee Keyboard next month

During the CES and CeBIT conventions earlier this year, ASUS demonstrated the Eee Keyboard, a keyboard with integrated PC and mini LCD-screen. Until now, the compact system wasn't available yet. TechConnect reports that the Eee Keyboard will be launched in both the United States and Europe in the coming month.

The device weighs 1,1 kg and is equipped with a 5" touchscreen that sports an 800x480 pixel resolution. ASUS' Eee Keyboard operates on a 1,6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, equipped with 1 GB of RAM and a 16 or 32 GB SSD. The integrated GMA 950 chip takes care of the graphics and the system has an HDMI output. The Eee Keyboard features 802.11n WLAN and Bluetooth.

It's expected that the Eee Keyboard will run on Windows 7 and is to cost about 500 euro.
