Marmitek EasyTouch Panel10

Marmitek's new EasyTouch Panel10 is to prove that usability and stylish design can be perfectly combined for home automation.Through the 10" touchscreen, which is simply mounted to the wall, all X-10 controlled lamps and devices in the house can be switched on and off wirelessly.

The manufacturer claims that the new panel is an affordable, wireless touchscreen that can be programmed and used by anyone, without requiring a computer. One press on the panel will allow all lights in the house to be turned off.

The screen's content can be altered as desired. Two different configurations each offer the option to add up to 30 buttons. The keys each have their own assigned functionality and can be positioned anywhere on the screen. Combined with the possibility to use your own background image beneath the glass touch panel, this allows for unique customization.

The panel features an integrated Marmitek X-10/RF transmitter, as well as an antenna. This antenna transmits the Marmitek X-10 commands wirelessly to the X-10 transceiver. The brushed aluminum screen runs on 2 AAA-batteries. The configurations are automatically saved, preventing data loss during a power outage.
