Sitecom introduces the WL-350 Wireless Media Router 300N, in the Smart Living series. Sitecom claims that the device's internal antennas allow users to download and stream media wirelessly with speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The new router features the StreamEngine-technology, which automatically prioritizes time-sensitive application, such as the streaming of High Definition video, gaming and downloading. The device has also been equipped with the Concurrent Dual-Band technology, allowing both the standard 2.4 GHz frequency, as well as the less-used 5 GHz frequency to be used simultaneously. The Media Router sports a single USB-port to connect an external storage device, which is then accessible to all users of the network.

Sitecom's wireless router offers support for the latest wireless technology conforming the wireless standard 802.11n draft 2.0, while the integrated full-duplex 10/100/1000-switch features four ports for wired ethernet-devices. The WAN port is also a gigabit one. The WL-350 comes WPA2 protected out of the box and also sports an OPS-button (One-Push Setup), allowing a secure wireelss transmission to be enabled.

The WL-350 Wireless Media Router 300N will be released in mid-October at a recommended price of €179,99.
