Dell has launched a new high-end monitor, the Dell Ultrasharp U2410 widescreen monitor. This 24" monitor features an IPS-panel which is capable of displaying up ot 96% of the Adobe RGB color spectrum and 100% of the sRGB spectrum. This makes the screen perfectly suited for image- and video-editing. The IPS panel offers viewing angles of 178° in both the horizontal and vertical direction. The aspect-ratio is 16:10, making for a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The gray-to-gray response time is specified at 6 ms. Dell claims a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m2

The monitor is adjustable in height and can be rotated, which'll allow it to be used in pivot-mode as well. Dell has equipped the screen with several inputs, including analog VGA, digital DVI-D, DisplayPort and HDMI connectors. There's also a component and a composite connector present in the chassis, as well as an integrated cardreader and four USB ports.

Dell guarantees the screen comes without any dead pixels and provides a three-year warranty with its Ultrasharp U2410. The monitor costs about €530.
