Recently, several economic notebooks based on Intel's CULV-processors have been released. ASUS has its fair share in the market with seven notebooks in the UL30A-series. The notebooks have screen diagonals of 12.1, 13.3", 14" and 15,6" and feature a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.
Internally, the UL30A features a Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3 GHz CPU, though optionally a Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4 GHz, Core 2 Solo or Celeron processor is available. The graphics are handled by Intel's GMA 4500MHD. The exceptions are the 14" UL80V and 15,6" UL50V, which are equipped with a GeForce 210M 512MB GPU.
ASUS has added the exclusive Turbo33 technology to its notebooks, allowing a performance increase of up to 30%. The additional specifications include a 5400 RPM hard disk with a capacity between 160 and 500 GB, an up to 4 GB DDR2- or DDR3-memory. There's also the option to have either Windows Vista or Windows 7 pre-installed.
