[IFA09] smallest DVB-T receiver in the world
On its IFA stand, PCTV Systems -formerly known as Pinnacle- presented the smallest DVB-T TV-receiver in the world. The PCTV picoStick 74e is smaller than the conventional USB flashdrive and only sticks out of a laptop about two centimeters. When the receiver isn't used, a protective cap can be flipped to protect the USB-connector. PCTV Systems bundles an antenna with the receiver that can easily be screwed on.
The picoStick 74e is compatible with Windows Media Center in XP, Vista and Windows 7, but also comes with PCTV's own TV Center software. It supports HD-broadcasts with H.264 encoding, though it's unlikely those will be transmitted over DVB-T any time soon.
