gScreen introduces the solution for users that require the mobility of a notebook, but the screen size of a desktop computer. Its new product features two LED-backlit 15.4" displays. To keep the device mobile, one of the screens can also be slid behind the main screen, allowing for single-screen operation as well.
The notebook is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400, combined with 4GB of DDR2 memory, an nVidia GeForce 9800M GT graphics card and a 7200 RPM 320 GB hard disk. There's also the option to replace the GeForce 9800M GT card with a Quadro FX 1700M graphics card. Despite using a Li-ion 9-cell battery, it's quite likely that the battery life will be rather limited. gScreen also has plans to release a model with two 13" screens, which should work on its battery a bit longer.
The company's 15,4" dual-screen notebook will feature a $3000 USD pricetag and is to be released shortly.
