ASUS introduces SaberTooth P55 motherboard

Seperate from the Republic of Gamers- and P7P55-motherboards, ASUS has now announced the SaberTooth 55i. This motherboard is also designed around the P55-chipset and will be positioned in the manufacturer's TUF-series. It features a 12+2 phase power design and is compatible with socket 1156 processors. The board has four DDR3-memory slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots that support both SLI and CrossFire configurations, one eSATA, eight conventional SATA-connectors, Gigabit Ethernet, 8-channel audio and a T.Probe chip. ASUS' SaberTooth 55i is bundled with the CoolMem! Frame, which allows a fan to be placed above the memory modules. the chipset and mosfet heatsinks feature a CeraM!X coating, which is to account for a better heat dissipation.

As of yet, no information has been released regarding pricing and availability.
