New external DVD-burner by Lite-On

Lite-On's latest product is an external optical drive. The black or white eTAU108 is connected via USB, after which the burning of DVD's or CD's can begin. A seperate adaptor is unrequired, as the device is powered by the USB-connector.

The eTAU108 completes Lite-On's series of external optical drives; which already released the eTDU108 (DVD-player), eSAU108 (DVD-burner) and the eSAU208 (DVD-burner with LightScribe) in several colors. Lite-On's new eTAU108 weighs 350 grams and is capable of burning DVD's at 8x. CD's are written at a speed of 24x.

The eTAU108 has a recommended price of 45 euro and should become availably early next month.
