Freecom has added a credit card-shaped USB flashdrive to its line-up. The USB Memory is sized 82x58 mm and is a lot thicker than a regular credit card. Though the shape is relatively unusual, this isn't the special thing about Freecom's new drive. Its most notable for the fact that it will be available in capacities of 120 GB and 160 GB, which is quite uncommon for USB devices. The stored data can be protected by means of a password and encryption. A rubber coating is placed on the drive to physically protect the hardware.

Freecom's new storage device has a pricetag of 109 euro for the 120 GB model and 129 euro for the 160 GB version.
