Cooler Master presented its new Sentinel Advance gaming mouse this week. Though the mouse was already shown during the Computex 2009, it wasn't officially introduced until now. Cooler Master will release the mouse under its sub-brand CM Storm, which predominantly sells gaming gear. Equipped with Philips' Twin-Eyes laser technology, the mouse is able to reach a resolution of 5600 DPI.
A compact OLED-screen is located on top of the mouse, displaying several diagnostics. Standardly, the display shows the CM Storm logo, which can be changed with the bundled software. The software also allows different profiles to be created and to configure the eight programmable buttons.
The mouse's 64 kB integrated memory has room for up to five profiles, which can be switched between on-the-fly. The Sentinel Advance is able to light up in six different colors; two shaders of blue, red, yellow, green and purple, both on the front as in the mouse's two 'headlights'. Cooler Master has also equipped the mouse with a rubber grip and adjustable weights.
The Sentinel Advance gaming mouse has a recommended pricetag of €59 and should become available shortly.
