Hyundai has launched the X226Wa, a new affordable Full-HD widescreen monitor. The screen has a 21,5" diameter with a 16:9 aspect-ratio. The TN-panel is equipped with a Full-HD 1920x1080 pixel resolution and features a gray-to-gray response time of 5 ms. Hyundai specifies the brightness of the monitor at 300 cd/m2 and the dynamic contrast at 20.000:1. The viewing angles are 170° vertically and 160° horizontally. To finish it off, the company has integrated two 1,5 Watt speakers into the screen.

The rear of the monitor only features a single D-Sub (VGA) connector. The lack of a digital DVI output however is partially compensated by the reasonable pricetag: Hyundai's latest creation will only cost about € 140.
