BFG has announced the second model in its EX-series of power supplies. The EX-1000, is a 1 kW power supply, as the name suggests. BFG has decided to use four independent 12V rails and a 135 mm fan to keep the supply cooled. The modular PSU is compaitble with SLI or Crossfire, has an 80Plus Bronze certificate and lives up to the ATX12V 2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 specifications. BFG reports that the EX-1000 also features several technological implementations to increase its efficiency and make it run more silently.

The recommended pricetag of BFG's EX-1000 is about $200 USD.
