MSI presents two micro-ATX motherboards based on AMD's 740G/SB710 chipset. The 740GTM-P21 and 740GTM-P25 are compatible with socket AM2(+) AMD processors. The boards feature APS (Active Phase Switching) technology to control the power consumption. Graphics are taken care of by the integrated Radeon HD 2100 GPU.
Both motherboards are also equipped with a PCIe x16 slot, for the more demanding users. Also present are four SATA 3.0 Gbps and the board has two DDR2 memory slots supporting frequencies of up to 1066 MHz.
The 740GTM-P25 model has 10/100/1000 Ethernet and 7.1-channel audio, while the 740GTM-P21 only has 10/100 Ethernet and 5.1 channel audio. Apart from those differences, the boards are equal. It's still unclear when and at which price the boards will be released.
