Following BFG and EVGA, graphics card manufacturer Inno3D has also launched a watercooled version of the GTX 295 card. The new GTX 295 has its two videochips integrated on a single PCB, which means the card produces quite some heat. nVidia's reference cooler can keep the card cooled down under normal circumstances, but users who wish to get the utmost performance out of their cards will be facing high temperatures rather quickly.
Inno3D's watercooled GTX 295 will be called the iChill Black Series GTX295 and has a cooling block that covers most of the graphics card. The block removes the heat from the GPU's, the PCI-Express switch, the memory chips and the power design, allowing the card to be cooled down better, even when there isn't as much airflow in the chassis. Like every GTX 295, this model also has 1792 MB of memory and a total of 480 processing cores (240 for each GPU). the card requires both a 6-pin and an 8-pin power connector and with a second card, Quad SLI is also possible. The card is to be released soon at a still undisclosed price.
