It's been a while since we last heard about Acer's predator systems. The company reports however that a new Aspire G, as the Predator is also called, will be launched soon. The new addition will feature the same chassis as the 'old' version, though slight modifications have been made internally. Acer's decided to use an Intel Core i7 950 3.06 GHz processor in combination with 6 GB of DDR3-memory, a 1 TB hard disk and two nVidia GeForce GTS 250 graphics card with four DVI-D ports. Also present are eleven USB 2.0-ports, two eSATA-connectors, Blu-ray player, cardreader and dual Gigabit Ethernet. Acer bundles the Logitech G15 keyboard and Logitech G9 Laser Mouse and has pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) on the system.
It's still unclear when Acer's Predator Aspire G will be released, but it's expected that it'll become available around November. It's also quite likely that the system will feature a pricetag of about 2000 euro. TechConnect Magazine reports that Acer will also equiped the Predator with a Core i7 965 EE, a system that'll cost about $5.200 USD.
