G.Skill has expanded its line of DDR3 memory with the Ripjaws-series. The name is derived from the tooth-like structure of the aluminum heatspreader. The memory will be available in dual-channel kits with clock frequencies ranging from 1333 MHz up to 1866 MHz, at a maximum voltage of 1,65 Volt. In the near future, the series is to receive another two kits, the first of which will be a 2000 MHz CL9 and the second a 2200 MHz CL8. The kits are predominantly intended for the upcoming Intel processors, including the Lynnfield models.
All Ripjaws memory modules come with a lifetime warranty. The kits should be available soon.

The Ripjaws series owes its name to the tooth-like structure of the heatspreader
