AMD's not only celebrating its 40th birthday, the company also reached a milestone earlier this month by selling its 500 millionth processor of the x86 architecture. In times where numerous companies are under fire finanically, AMD chooses to keep the festivities at a low. The chip manufacturer does however wish to thank their customers and has started a bi-weekly contest on Twitter which will host new questions every other monday. Users who send in the right answer will get a shot at an HP Pavilion dv2z notebook, based on AMD's new Athlon Neo X2 processor. Europeans will have to let this one slip, as only United States and Canada residents are eligible for the competition.
