Corsair reintroduces Dominator GT modules
The problems with Elpida's Hyper DDR3-memory chips, that affected companies as Corsair and OCZ to the extent where the modules were pulled off the market, appear to have been solved. Corsair is reintroducing its complete Dominator GT line of memory. According to John Beekley, vice-president of Corsair's Application Engineering department, they have been able to trace the problems to some of the first batches of the Hyper chip. In cooperation with Elpida, the manufacturer has been able to resolve any caused issues and is convinced that the new Dominator GT modules will live up to the quality standards set by the company, as well as those set by their customers.
The new Dominator GT memory kits will feature an updated serial number, as can be seen below:
| Productcode | Kloksnelheid | Capaciteit | Timings | Spanning |
| CMG6GX3M3A2000C7 | 2000 MHz | 3 * 2 GB | 7-7-7-20 | 1,65 V |
| CMG6GX3M3A2000C8 | 2000 MHz | 3 * 2 GB | 8-8-8-24 | 1,65 V |
| CMG6GX3M3A1866C7 | 1866 MHz |
3 * 2 GB | 7-7-7-20 | 1,65 V |
| CMG4GX3M2A1600C6 | 1600 MHz |
2 * 2 GB | 6-6-6-18 | 1,65 V |
The modules will be equipped with the same heatspreaders as the old version. This means that the DHX+ heatpsreader, covering both the front and the rear, will be cooling the modules again. The cooling fins of these heatspreaders are detachable and can be swapped with Corsair's Hydro H30 waterblock or Ice T30 peltier element.
Corsair's entire line-up of Dominator GT's should be available again within two weeks and will be bundled with the Corsair Airflow fan.
