Fudzilla reports thatr Acer will introduce a new Aspire notebook, equipped with nVidia's new 40nm GPU. The Acer Aspire 5739G features an Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2.0 GHz processor, 4096 MB of memory and a 320 GB harddisk. The system will be using a GeForce GT240M graphics card with 1024 MB memory. THe GT240M has 48 shaders and a core clock frequency of 550 MHz. THe shader and memory are respectively clocked at 1210 MHz and 800 MHz. Manufacturers can decide whether they wish to use DDR2- or DDR3-memory on the GT240M. The GPU is DirectX 10.1-compatible and sports a 23 Watt TDP.

Acer's Aspire 5739G weighs 2.8 kg and has a 15,6" screen with 16:9 aspect-ratio. The notebook is expected to cost about 800 euro.
