Thecus ComboNAS for 2.5" and 3.5" drives

Thecus releases a new NAS device, compatible with both 2.5" and 3.5" hard disks. The NAS, branded N0503 has room for three 3.5" or up to five 2.5" hard disks. The N0503 is equipped with Intel's Atom processor, 1 GB of memory, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, eSATA, USB-connector and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and JBOD. An external 96 Watt power adaptor is used to power the device. The NAS supports hot swap and hot spare, as well as auto volume rebuild, disk array roaming and Nsync.

Pre-installed is an iTunes server, image webserver, uPnP AV streaming, integrated IP Camera surveillance server and a download manager. By means of the LCD display, diagnostics on the device and available storage space can be seen. The NAS is controlled through a web GUI based on the AJAX-technology.

As of yet, no information is available regarding pricing and availability.
