New GS1000 Plus chassis by Zalman

Zalman has added a new chassis to its GS1000 series, which have been given the suffix 'Plus'. The Zalman GS1000 Plus will be available in a black and titanium color and weighs 14,4 kilograms. The case is sized 585 x 220 x 520 mm and has room for four 5.25" drives and an extended-ATX, ATX or micro-ATX motherboard. A notable fact of this case are the six hotswappable harddisk bays and the power supply, which is placed in a special system with rollers. On top of the case, front panel connectors for USB and eSATA are present.

To reduce resonance, Zalman has added rubber feet to the chassis. The required airflow is provided by two 92 mm and two 120 mm fans. Optionally, two additional fans can be installed in the case. When Zalman's new GS1000 Plus will be released and at which cost is still unknown.
