nVidia to release more SLI patches
For a while, graphics card manufacturer EVGA has been releasing so-called SLI patches that will add support for nVidia's SLI technology in certain games, as well as increasing the performance in others. Because of this, users with a multi-GPU setup will be able to significantly enhance their performance. Originally, nVidia only released updated SLI-profiles for games simultaneously with the launch of its new GeForce driver, but recently the first beta version of nVidia SLI Profile Patch has appeared on its website.

This could mean that nVidia will make more SLI-support updates of its own, to increase and enhance the performance in popular games. The first beta version is to be used in combination with nVidia's GeForce 186.18 driver and adds the SLI feature to the games Anno 1401 (Dawn of Discovery) and ARMA II.
