Linksys launches successor WRT54G router
Linksys launches the successor of the WRT54G router: the Wireless-G Broadband Router (WRT54G2). The new router has the same design as the recently introduced Ultra RangePlus products with the same sleek profile as the WRT160N and WAG160N. The new stylish design has the antenna's integrated, without decreasing the signal's range.
LELA checks for updates for all Linksys products on the network and is able to configure connected devices and computers. The interface is kept simple to keep the program more user friendly.
The WRT54G2´s network protection can be configured with the push of a button. The WPS-technology (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is developed to allow wireless devices to be secured more easily. With one push on the WPS-button of the router and a WPS-compatible product, a secured connection can be established easily.
The Wireless-G Broadband Router (WRT54G2) is available at a recommended price of € 49,-.
