Western Digital has introduced new Caviar Black 7200 rpm hard disks of 750 and 1000 GB earlier this week. The high-end drives are meant for workstations using video- and foto-editing applications. This sets the Black series apart from the Blue (standard) and Green (silent/energy efficient).
