WHS Power Pack RC1 available

In cooperation with all partners, MVP's and "Dogfooders", the Windows Home Server team has announced the launch of a Release Candidate of Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 (Build 1771). The pack is available for public downloading and testing through Microsoft Connect.

PowerPack 1 has been extensively tested and the team is convinced it'll solve things like the data corruption bug. The team also promises the following improvements:

• Windows Vista x64 support
  

• Backup of home server Shared Folders

• Simpler and better remote access features

• Enhanced energy efficiency

• Better performance

• Chinese and Japanese versions
