Thecus has shown a seven/bay NAS system on the Computex 2008. The N7700, successor of the 5-bay N5200 has a Celeron processor, 1 GB DDR2 memory and an embedded linux operating system to handle the communication between the eight disks and the rest of the world. The NAS supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD. There's no price known yet.
