We saw ASUS' Eee Box earlier this week, the desktop version of the popular, cheap mini-notebooks. Cheap and efficient desktop PC's could be the next big thing. MSI seems to be ready for it as well with the Wind PC. It's a larger than ASUS' Eee Box but fits an entire 5.25" DVD-dirve, giving people a wider choice when it comes to components. The Wind PC will be available in different colors. Thanks to the Atom processor the maximum power usage will be around 35 to 40 Watt. Though the name Wind stands for 'Wireless Internet Device', a WLAN-adapter - contrary to the Eee Box- is optional with this PC.
