ASUS introduced a new graphics card line-up on its stand, named Matrix. These cards have a hybrid cooler; the fan doesn't run in 2D mode, cooling the card completely passively. In 3D-mode the fan will spin, but the speed is determined by the GPU's load. ASUS has also developed a technology to decrease the voltage when the card isn't heavily loaded.

The first Matrix card is based on the GeForce 9600 GT and will be available shortly. Later on other GPU's will be equipped with this new cooler as well.
