Toshiba expanded its Portege R500 series with the R500-11T and R500-11Z. Both laptops feature a Lithium-Ion 6 cell battery, weigh only 999 grams (DVD-player included) and have a sleek appearance, with the thickness varying betweeen 19.5 and 25.5 mm. The only difference is the hard disk. The Portege R500-11Z has a classic hard disk, whereas the Portege R500-11T features a Solid State Drive (SSD). Where the laptop had a 64 GB SSD upon release, it has now been replaced with a 128 GB model.

The new Portege R500-11T with 128GB SSD will be available starting the 1st of July at a recommended price of  € 2736 (incl. VAT)
