Since Dell bought Alienware, it has been releasing extreme XPS sytems. HP purchased VoodooPC and follow with their own line of extreme gaming systems, in America. Now these two grandmasters have proven that die-hard gamers are an interesting market target the other player from the Top 3 PC builders couldn't fall behind. Acer has introduced its first gaming pc.

Acer showed the Aspire G7700 on her stand, a machine that is to compete with the competitors' XPS and BlackBird. The appearance of the G7700 can be called quite special and according to the designers, will appeal well. The DVD drivers and frontpanel are hidden beneath a special panel. Acer plans to use only the best parts in this computer. The G7700 will feature a Core 2 Extreme processor and two or even three high-end nVidia graphics cards in SLI. Detailed specifications have not yet been released. Though a price is also unknown still, a look at the components gives us an impression...
