Recently Intel and Gigabyte introduced the first Mini-ITX Intel Atom motherboards. To prevent Atom being used in more expensive market segments, the processor magnate has applied several restrictions for an Atom motherboard. One of the restrictions is that an Atom board may not have a PCI-Express x16 slot for a seperate graphics card. The boards will only have a normal PCI-slot.
