Recently Intel and Gigabyte introduced the first Mini-ITX Intel Atom motherboards. To prevent Atom being used in more expensive market segments, the processor magnate has applied several restrictions for an Atom motherboard.  One of the restrictions is that an Atom board may not have a PCI-Express x16 slot for a seperate graphics card. The boards will only have a normal PCI-slot. Albatron sees a new market for PCI graphics cards with this development. The company announced them a while back and we've seen them on their Computex 2008 stand now: a complete range of cards, under which the GeForce 8600 GT, 8500 GT and 600 GT. We also saw other manufacturers reinstating PCI graphics cards.
