Dell's Eee PC competitor

With the 8.9 inch mini-notebook's increasing popularity, we saw ASUS' Eee PC and MSI's Wind. Systembuilders like HP and Acer are planning similar products and pictures have surfaced of a Dell mini-notebook.

The exact spefications aren't known yet, but it is likely that Dell's small laptop will have a single core Intel Atom processor. An 8.9 inch LCD screen, integrated webcam, three USB-ports and a cardreader are standard features on the notebook. Current price indications show that the recommended price in the United States is below US $500,-.
