Eight memory slot motherboard by MSI

The Japanese website PC Watch Impress has released photo's of a variety of Intel P45/P43 motherboards from MSI. One of the boards stands out because of it's remarkable eight memory slots, four of which are DDR2 and another four of the DDR3 type. This make it one of the few motherboards that combine memory slots and make it future ready. Whether the board, most likely based on P45 or P43, will be released for the public however, remains doubtful. It is likely that more will be revealed during the Computex, in about two weeks.

Apart from the abundance of memory slots, it's a pretty basic motherboard. The board features one PCI-Express 16x slot, one PCI-Express 1x and three regular PCi slots. The board also has eight SATA connections and four USB headers. Lastly, MSI's motherboard also has an overclock jumper, instantly increasing the FSB from 333 to 400 MHz.
