Transcend recently introduced new DDR3 modules. The retail DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333 240-pin DIMM's come with a 1 or 2 GB capacity, existing from 8x128MB DDR3 DRAM chips.

Transcend claims a 20 to 30% decrease in power consumption, this as a result of the lower voltage, DDR3 runs at 1.5V, compared to 1.8V for DDR2. 

The timings of the are 7-7-7-20 for the 1066 MHz modules, and 9-9-9-24 for the 1333 MHz ones. The memory comes with a lifetime warranty.  There is no information on the price and availability yet.
