AU Optronics launches special TFT monitors

AU Optronics has announced three special TFT screens, which are to be released shortly. The first is a curved screen, created from glass. AU Optronics also releases the thinnest monitor, meant for mobile phones. The third introduced screen is one that uses so-called In-Cell-Multi-Touch technology, which will appear in 4.3 and 8 inch sizes. The touchscreenfunction is integrated in the TFT screen and does not require an additional glass panel. The screen features Anti-Glare properties to guarantee readability under bright sunlight. The 4.3 inch screen will be ready somewhere in this quarter of the year.
